About Gagan:

Gagan received his Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Reading, UK (2018). His thesis focused on understanding the role of nuclear receptors in platelets. Gagan joined the University of Iowa as a postdoc in 2019. Here, his research work involves the identification of the mechanisms by which metabolic enzymes regulate platelet functions and thrombosis. Outside of the lab, he enjoys reading, playing video games, and cooking.
